Kieran Doyle will speak about USPTO Trademark Practice at the 2023 AIPPI World Congress
Kieran Doyle will speak about USPTO Trademark Practice on an international panel of trademark practitioners at the 2023 AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) World Congress, which is being held from October 22 to 25, 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey.
CLL attorney Maria Scungio is also attending the meeting. Maria is Second Vice-President of AIPPI and will serve as its global President in 2026.
Kieran is Chair of Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman. He litigates trademark, copyright and product labeling matters in federal and state courts and counsels clients regarding trademark clearance, registration, prosecution, licensing and protection. He also represents brand owners before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Maria advises a wide range of clients, large and small, including Fortune 500 companies, in all aspects of their domestic and international trademark portfolio concerns. As a litigator, Maria has represented clients in federal courts nationwide, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in other courts and administrative tribunals. Maria has been actively involved with AIPPI for many years. In addition to serving as Vice President, she serves on its US Steering Committee and previously served on its Standing Committee on Trademarks.
