Deborah Squiers will chair and Robert English will speak at PLI’s Fundamentals of Trademark Law in the Global Marketplace 2024 CLE program

Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman (“CLL”) partner and the head of its Trademark Group Deborah Squiers will again chair PLI’s Fundamentals of Trademark Law in the Global Marketplace 2024 CLE program.

The program, of interest to those new to trademark law or experienced in it, will cover key principles of trademark law and unfair competition; domestic searching, clearing and registration processes; international searching and filing strategies; a primer on trademark enforcement and litigation techniques; and the latest legal and regulatory developments and practice considerations.  The speakers will include CLL partner Robert English covering the international trademark subjects, as well as experienced trademark practitioners Aryn Emert (CLL alumna and Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property at Paramount Global), Joshua Bressler, Vijay Toke, and Virginia Marino.
