On November 16, 2023, Jeffrey Chery represented Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman at the Lexology Global Counsel Awards in New York City. Lexology is a global legal news and media publisher. Now in its 17th year, the Lexology Global Counsel Awards recognizes the outstanding achievements of the world's leading in-house practitioners and teams across an array of practice areas and sectors. Lexology’s research team conducts confidential research across the in-house market, collecting feedback from private practice lawyers, consulting experts, clients, and other in-house lawyers to produce a shortlist of names and an eventual winner in 12 categories. They focus on criteria such as effective communication, legal understanding, commercial awareness, depth and strength of team, and management skills, in addition to any significant projects or transactions. The awards ceremony was hosted in conjunction with the Association of Corporate Counsel.
