Two Cowan, Leibowitz & Latman partners are attending INTA’s The Business of AI conference

Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman (CLL) partners Jeffrey Chery and Joel Karni Schmidt are attending the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) The Business of AI conference in New York.  CLL and its attorneys have been actively involved with INTA for many years and currently serve on many INTA committees.  CLL attorneys are actively advising clients regarding issues relating to the use of artificial intelligence and are part of the litigation team in the lawsuit brought by major record label UMG and other music publishers against artificial intelligence company Anthropic for distributing copyrighted lyrics with its AI model Claude 2.
