Maria Scungio Attended the AIPPI World Congress in Hangzhou, China
CLL attorney Maria Scungio attended the 2024 AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) World Congress, which was held from October 19 to 22, 2024 in Hangzhou, China. She has been elected First Vice-President of AIPPI and will serve as its global President in 2026.
Maria advises a wide range of clients, large and small, including Fortune 500 companies, in all aspects of their domestic and international trademark portfolio concerns. As a litigator, Maria has represented clients in federal courts nationwide, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in other courts and administrative tribunals. Maria has been actively involved with AIPPI for many years. In addition to serving as Vice President, she serves on its US Steering Committee and previously served on its Standing Committee on Trademarks.
AIPPI is a leading non-profit association dedicated to the development and improvement of laws for the protection of intellectual property.
