New Counsel Announcement: Raphael Nemes and Lyndsey Waddington

We are pleased to announce that Raphael Nemes and Lyndsey Waddington have been elevated to the role of Counsel at our firm, effective January 1, 2025.

Raphael Nemes’s practice encompasses a wide range of intellectual property matters, including trademark litigation, enforcement, prosecution, and contested proceedings before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board.  A significant portion of his practice focuses on helping intellectual property owners protect their rights in cyberspace—in the US and worldwide—against infringing, impersonating, fraudulent, and phishing domain names, websites, social media platforms, apps, and emails.  Rafi has substantial experience in analyzing and determining appropriate strategies for clients against online infringements, impersonations and scams, and has represented clients in connection with hundreds of Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings.  He counsels clients across a broad range of industries, including financial services, fashion, sports, and other consumer goods and business services.

Lyndsey Waddington’s practice focuses on U.S. trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement and maintenance, as well as licensing of intellectual property rights and managing international trademark portfolios. Lyndsey also has extensive experience with contested proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and with UDRP domain name dispute proceedings before the National Arbitration Forum.  She has also handled general corporate and commercial matters, including negotiating and drafting agreements for IP-related matters such as licensing, co-existence, manufacturing, and distribution, and has represented clients in state court.
