A new version of a bill to protect fashion designs in the United States was introduced in the Senate on September 19, 2012.  It is now named the "Innovative Design Protection Act of 2012."  S. 3523 (Schumer-D NY).  Click here to read our Client Alert which summarizes the proposed law and changes from the prior bill.
