A closely held business inevitably will come to a crossroads, either due to the aging or illness of the founders who must find suitable successors or perhaps a fortuitous offer to purchase the business presents itself. Over the years, we have assisted many businesses with the process of preparing for sale, negotiating the transaction and closing the deal. Larger companies may desire to sell their businesses, or a division, or merge with another entity; we often advise companies in these situations as well.

In still other situations, companies may look for strategic acquisitions, to add a needed product/service line or location or add to existing capacity; and we often advise the acquiring companies in these transactions.
