SIDNEY I. LIEBOWITZ

April 22, 1924 - July 8, 2018

Sidney was a founding partner of Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman, P.C. After serving in the Army, Sidney graduated from Yale University and Columbia Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the Columbia Law Review. Sidney concentrated on commercial, international, and matrimonial law. He loved the challenge of finding solutions to complicated problems, and continued to go into his office long after retirement. Sidney was known for his brilliant mind, wise counsel, generosity, optimism, devotion to family and friends, and curiosity about the world.
