Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman hosts VOLS Pro Bono Clinic with the ACC
On October 30, 2023 Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman hosted a VOLS (Volunteers of Legal Services) pro bono clinic together with the ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel). The firm provided pro bono services to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs who needed advice with a range of intellectual property issues, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade secrets, licensing, and other issues. Many thanks to the CLL and ACC volunteers and organizers, including Ajita Abraham, Jeanine Anderson, Stephani Antona, Brian Campbell, Jeffrey Chery, Anta Cisse-Green, Susan Dauber, Aryn Emert, Suzanne Hawkins, Hiromi Hirayama, Michael Knopf, Andrea Kornbluth, Sarah Sue Landau, Meichelle MacGregor, Alissa Makower, Karan Nair, Patricia Nelson, Reema Pangarkar, Joel Karni Schmidt, Paula-Jane Seidman, and Ana Zhadina. As part of the program, Robert English, John Miranda, and Mark Montague also gave a presentation to ACC members on intellectual property basics.
